Petersfield is a market town with a good selection of shops, pubs and restaurants, including JSW with it’s Michelin star.
We had a major issue with the internet access that was no better than dial up speeds. As a family we like to look at reviews and write ups of local attractions and this was impossible to do. There is no excuse In this day and age to have such bad access, we live 10 miles from the nearest conurbation and still manage to have better internet access than this cottage. The exacerbation was the fact that the TV’s ‘guide’ didn’t work and as the the internet was so shocking we couldn’t access any other TV guide so couldn’t watch movies etc available on the tv, and obviously downloading anything was a complete no no. Other issues were the bathroom layout, why have the master room upstairs with only a bath in the upstairs bathroom when the water tank is obviously too small to fill the bath - rendering the main bathroom unusable!! So we had to traipse downstairs to use the shower!! The toilet also broke while we were there and although we complained and sent photos of the problem nobody came to fix it. All in all a disaster short half term break, so much so we came home a day early..... o yes and there was dog mess in garden!!! Awful - will never return!!!
