I’ve given Mulberry 5 stars but what did they do for it ? I had no need to contact them. They have a website, make a booking, take your money and take a cut. On the other hand the accommodation was superb. Small but big enough for two. A very well appointed and comfortable cottage owned by a lovely lady who made us very welcome and makes the best ever gingerbread. PS You have to like ducks. haha

Very helpful and efficient. Excellent accommodation in every way. A super place to stay in a lovely, peaceful location with beautiful views from the windows. A very comfortable, well equipped and tastefully furnished apartment. Excellent and thoughtful attention to detail. Friendly, helpful and hospitable owner. An ideal base for walking and exploring the area, with all parts of Hampshire within easy reach. Always a pleasure to return to ’Catch of the Day’ at the end of the day.

The booking procedure was very easy and the details of where the key would be was emailed exactly when it was supposed to be emailed to me. The property was absolutely lovely and the lady who owns the house was very friendly and interesting. We wold have like to stay longer. We really enjoyed the village of Stockbridge and the house was lovely - just what we needed after walking 200 miles. The area was also quite central so we had a few day trips to great places like Portsmouth. The owner was very nice and friendly and I would definitely recommend this property to those who want a peaceful break. We also enjoyed the dogs and chickens and especially the little ducks who came to sit with us when we sat near the river.

Want somewhere perfect to snuggle up in when the weather is foul? Mulberry Cottages can be relied upon to provide you a huge choice. They are also in lovely locations if the weather is good as well. The River Test, peace, local country attractions, a lovely house and a perfect welcome. What more could one want winter or summer.

The stay was organised easily by Mulberry. A beautiful location and garden. We felt very welcome, and the apartment was clean and comfortable. The fittings and linens and towels were good quality. The owner is charming, the ducks amusing as they sit with you in the garden.

My booking was dealt with quickly professionally and in a friendly manner. The property was very clean, comfortable and spacious for two people and of a very high standard. The grounds and surrounding area were lovely . Lucy was very friendly and helpful. As this was only the second booking it may be helpful to add a microwave ,hairdryer and sweeping brush. We had a very enjoyable week and would readily book the property again.

An efficient agency with an informative website. It was a pleasure to stay in this comfortable well-equipped property in its peaceful rural location. We enjoyed doing what we went there to do - walking in the varied local countryside, while looking for butterflies, wild flowers and other wildlife. We particularly liked Stockbridge Down with its variety of habitats, and also liked Danebury Hill. We also enjoyed a visit to Houghton Lodge Gardens. One thing to note is that except for the kitchen-diner, the accommodation is all upstairs and is reached by a steep narrow bending staircase which could make the property unsuitable for frail people. There are lovely views from the upstairs windows and it was pleasant to walk through the owner’s garden and sit by the river. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
