What makes this area so special
There is so much to do within a few miles of the cottage. The Dover to Folkestone heritage coast covers the area of the White Cliffs of Dover, a natural haven for jackdaws and swallows, and where orchids grow along the cliff-tops.
Dover Castle is a must for history buffs, and a great place for children to explore. Don’t miss the Wartime Tunnels beneath the castle, which is a truly amazing experience.
For walkers the choice is endless with the North Downs Way passing through the Kent Downs Area of Natural Beauty, offering superb views over open countryside and dotted with small villages.
And for the more adventurous, a day trip to France is so easy with the Channel Tunnel practically on your doorstep.
For shopping and strolling around, the seaside towns of Dover, Folkestone and Hythe are all within easy reach, each with a range of activities from cinemas and shopping galleries, to restaurants and bars.
Guests use the hot tub facilities at their own risk, and due to harsh chemicals used for maintenance purposes some skin types may react.
