The booking site was easy to navigate. The cottage was beautiful and right beside the beach. Weather was lovey and Sandgate village had everything we needed. I would definitely book with Mulberry Cottages again , perhaps even the same cottage. Beautiful cottage right on the beach. Just as described on the website.

Alles Super.

Folkestone bietet alles, was man zum täglichen Leben benötigt.

The cottage was lovely and we had an amazing stay. But like most places there were some pros and cons. So here’s what we found: The good things Amazing location Stunning cottage, light, airy and well laid out Really nicely furnished We were staying with work, we asked for an airer as we needed to do some washing and the owners provided one, which was great The cons The first is hopefully just an issue for us and I’d really hope us fixed. It was winter when we stayed - we had snow so it was cold. This was made worse as one of the radiators didn’t work -we reported this during our stay. The cottage sleeps up to 6. Bigger pans would help. We struggled to cook for 4 people when family popped down for a day. Parking is a challenge. While we were there the residents parking zone was extended. We went from being able to park locally for free during the day to needing to pay. It could be worth the owners looking into parking permits.

More information was needed in the details of what was available in the cottage. Lovely little cottage, could do with small set of drawers in main bedroom and a chair. The bathroom needs a stool or chair to put clothes on. It was great to be so close to the sea and lovely to walk along the front. The big negative is parking. I would not like to be there during the busy season. Maybe the owners could re-do out the front of the cottage and make a space to park? We did enjoy it though and would go again as we love Hythe, the hamper was a nice big surprise and very thoughtful.

Helpful staff, good website, lots of choice for type & location Good location, comfortable cottage, lovely new bathroom Would benefit from a "users guide" with info on how to get hot water, rubbish/recycling arrangements and collection day etc. The main problem was availability of the advertised off-road parking which was practically non-existent and all the locals said this was a constant problem. The pay & display car park is close by but at £8 per day does add to the cost!

Easy to use website and book. I made one call to ask if any essentials in the property as this was not in the description - I said like loo rolls, washing up liquid and she said yes these are at the property. I waited for her to say more but she didn’t so I felt a bit embarrassed and didn’t ask more and when we got to the property there were a lot more essentials available which I need not have put on my online shop for my holiday. I know this is a small thing but provisions are quite important to self catering. Beautifully laid out plenty of room for a 2 bed cottage. Very well equipped - a little clothes airer would have been handy. Board games in the property for older children and adults but take your own toys if you have younger ones. Fantastic situation just a 10 minute walk towards Folkestone along the seafront and you come to Lower Leas Coastal Park which is fantastic for children.

efficient all went well Superb location and a pretty little cottage. Couldn’t use the vac as it was full of red brick dust but hopefully we left things in good condition.
