"If you are coming to the Cotswold Water Park for stargazing or to enjoy the surroundings with family and friends then Shearwater Laker House is the place for you.\nThe interior has a lovely calming decor and with full height doors and windows in the living space the amazing lake scenery can be seen and enjoyed whatever the weather.\nThe open plan kitchen and dining area are central to the home and the living area opens out onto the deck with outdoor furniture and a BBQ for the warmer days. In winter you can curl up on the couch in front of the gas fire and enjoy the extraordinary views over the lake from the comfort of the sofa.\nA bedroom and bathroom can be found on the ground floor for anyone not wanting to venture upstairs and the other four bedrooms and two bathrooms are spread out over the two floors above so plenty of space for everyone.\nThis property can be booked with Wrens Lake House UKC5302 which is next door to accommodate up to 16 guests."

Shearwater Lake House: The house is semi-detached and is located in a gated community. Sleeps 8+2 in 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (of which 1 is en suite). 2 King beds, 1 Double bed and 2 Twin beds (one of the twin bedrooms is a loft area with loft beds). 2 of the beds are Zip and link beds. Beds will always be made in the below configuration unless requested differently with the booking team. One private parking space outside the house and then shared parking spaces with other homes can be used. There is a private deck, small grass area and jetty. There is a communal garden space at the front of the house and shared use of a tennis court

Bedroom three (sleeps 4): double bed with lake views (There is a mezzanine that sleeps 2 and is accessed via bedroom 3 up a paddle ladder, this can be a twin or double)
Bedroom four (sleeps 2): King Size bed - If you require this bed to be made into a twin then please request with the booking team at time of booking.
Bathroom three: with bath and shower overhead

Outside
Decking with table and chairs and a gas BBQ, steps onto the very small grass area and jetty. Please note: there is no gate between the deck and the jetty onto the lake so children and dogs need to be watched
Grass communal space at the front of the house and shared tennis court (there will be tennis rackets and balls in the house if needed)

    2 well behaved dogs are permitted. Please note that the decking is not secure for pets so please ensure dogs are supervised at all times
    There is a parking space outside the house and then communal parking spaces opposite in front of the boats and in the next bay down around 100 yards away
    Accessibility conditions: The 5th bedroom is reached by a paddle staircase from bedroom 3 making it not suitable for the less mobile
    There is a hot tub, please make sure children are supervised at all times
    Safety conditions: This house is on the edge of a lake and between the decking and jetty there is no gate, please ensure children are supervised at all times
    This property does not accept hen and stag parties
    This property will be decorated for the Christmas period
    Guests are welcome to bring their own canoes and safety equipment. This equipment is also available to rent locally.

    A security deposit of £300 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.

    Set on 1 on the 150 Cotswolds lakes Shearwater Lake House is the perfect base to enjoy everything that is on offer in the area. You will find motorised water sports sailing, canoeing, and paddle boarding on the next lake. Bike hire, angling and even the biggest inland beach in the UK all within a mile or two.
    The biggest attraction of the area is the walking and wildlife, no matter what time you visit the lakes the scenery is always changing and there is something new to see every day. The famous Thames path snakes all the way through the lakes and down to the Saxon town of Cricklade and even onto Lechlade. Spar shop located around a mile away in the village of South Cerney
