An excellent property; the publicity was accurate and advance information vert relevant and helpful. We would be pleased to recommend to friends. The character and age of the property appealed to all family members (aged from 5 to 70 years). On arrival it was clean, tidy and welcoming.

Beautiful farmhouse, very well equipped for young children and teenagers. Layout really suited to multi generational family get togethers. Lots to do in surrounding area. Great outside space and summer but would also be very cosy in the winter.

Incredibly well run business who kept me up to date throughout the whole process. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic house and a thoroughly enjoyable weekend. I shall certainly be booking through Mulberry Cottages again. Stunning house in a lovely location. The owner popped round and couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. Would highly recommend as it really is a stunning house with everything you could ask for.

Responsive and efficient. When the owner changed her mind to wanting a week-long booking over Easter, rather than a 5-night break, Mulberry Cottages were proactive in getting us the best possible price. Similarly, when the heating at the framhouse broke down a couple of days before our arrival, they were helpful and proactive. In the event, we were able to take our holiday as the heating got fixed! This is a lovely old and large farmhouse - perfect for a family holiday of five adults and two young children. It is in a rural location - the children were invited to watch a neighbour feeding a newly born lamb. The large garden was perfect for croquet and Easter Egg hunts. We appreciated the space and the grandchildren loved the two staircases - perfect for hide and seek. A few niggles - the property could do with a deep clean. Someone had left a very dirty and greasy roasting pan in a drawer in the kitchen; we had to give the slightly stained loos a good clean on arrival (we did buy a cleaner suitable for septic tanks!), many light bulbs/spotlights need changing. Another example, whilst trying to get a phone signal on the steps to the bunk bed area in one of the bedrooms - we noted someone had left a couple of dirty glasses in that mezzanine area. We did not attempt to climb all the way up to retrieve them. These shortcomings are why we cannot give a 5 star rating. We enjoyed our holiday.
