This was our second stay in Whitstable our first over new year we had a lovely week. The cottage was ideal very near the harbour and centre of town, well equipped (we cooked a couple of times) and very comfortable. Some great restaurants and lovely walks (even in December/January). The owner welcomed our Border Terrier which was great. All in all a lovely week and start to 2017. Only downside is car parking , on street parking is an issue even in December/January! Welcomed by the owner, very nice two bedroom cottage, very comfortable and well equipped.

Their website is not very user friendly and some of their e-mails didn’t come through which meant we had to keep chasing them to get details to the cottage. They promised to call back with details but I still had to chase them. Their service was OK. but I have used much better ’middle men’ for holiday lets. I would not use them again, purely because I became very frustrated with their website and trying to get information It was a cute property and close to the seafront and quaint high street. The owner is very helpful and friendly and close by if you need help. It is very dog friendly and the garden is enclosed. The toilet is downstairs which could be a small problem at night for some people. Could have done with a bottle opener (we should have asked the owner but kept forgetting, sorry.) It was cosy and snug and great for hunkering down when it was raining! Parking can be a bit of issue especially at weekends but we always managed to find somewhere fairly close to the property.

Through Mulberry Cottages we booked Stowaways in Whitstable. The cottage was a.delight. It was, as described on the website, a ’stones throw’ from the harbour and the amenities of the town. It was comfortable, well equipped and tastefully decorated. We would book with Mulberry Cottages again and again at Stowaways where we felt really at home.

Mulberry Cottages were very helpful and the booking process was very easy. Stowaways was perfect and cosy for the two of us with our dog (who was made very welcome by the owner). The town, harbour and beach are all very accessible and easy walking distance from the cottage. Parking is on the road, which is not a problem in February, but I don’t know what it would be like in the peak season.
