Absolutely perfect! Just what we needed. We've been Coventry many times and always came past this building and always wondered what it looked like on the inside and it did not disappoint. Close to everything we needed, no hassle with arrival or departure, very welcoming and looked absolutely fantastic. Will definitely return in future.

We absolutely loved our stay at Swanswell Gate. We went knowing that it was right in the centre of the city so expected a lot of noise especially as we stayed on Friday and Saturday nights but actually we were not disturbed at all. We had read a previous review about people knocking on the door but had no problem with this…there is a flagstone on the pavement right outside which is loose and makes a bang when you step on it so wonder if this was the noise. The tv worked perfectly and the Wi-Fi was pretty good. At one point the keycard stopped working but the hotel were really good and we were back in within 20mins. This is a wonderful opportunity to stay in a historic building and we had the most amazing weekend…just wish we could have stayed longer.
