"Ted’s Cottage has been renovated in 2020 and retains a charming cosy character. The property is on the hill above the town centre about a 5-minute walk from the quay with a 10-minute walk back up the hill or two stops from quayside on the Townstal bus. The property boasts Wi-Fi Freeview and Satellite TV. As you enter the living room on the ground floor this room has views across Dartmouth and the estuary it has a large window seat three seater settee and two armchairs along with a wood burner 55\\ Freeview TV with Satellite TV. The kitchendining room is fully fitted with a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine along with a range of storage units. There is an external door out to the utility room and undercover paved area the utility room has the washerdryer and freezer. Upstairs and the main bedroom has a large antique style metal framed double bed and Freeview TV with Satellite TV the room has plenty of storage with large wardrobes chest of drawers and bedside cabinets. It also has great views over Dartmouth. The second bedroom has a modern metal frame small double bed with wardrobe and storage and a Freeview TV. The bathroom is superb with vaulted ceiling and a large bath rainfall and normal showers benefitting from a Bluetooth mirror so you can have your favourite music to shower too.\nOutside there is a large raised terrace at the front with seating this area gets sun to mid-morning and is a great place to sit for a sunny breakfast with views across the town and the sound of Dartmouth steam railway. The rear of the property is south westerly facing and gets sun from mid-morning to late evening the rear has multiple levels. A large patio at first floor level is accessed by steps from the back door and by a door from the landing this is a superb sun trap and has seating and tables a delightful area for a quiet secluded coffee or drink. Steps lead to a second patio with a freestanding BBQ and outdoor seating and table. Steps continue to a third patio with an outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ side burner sink and storage areas brilliant for an al fresco evening. Beach 6½ miles. Shop pub and restaurant ¾ miles."

This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. The property has a garage 50 metres away which is visible from the house that will accommodate most cars (but not large SUVs). The garage is the 5th garage up, with a red door and has 209 painted on it. In addition to this, parking directly outside the garage for small cars.
From Easter 2022 the garage will have an EV charging point, this will attract a charge for use.
Charging pod is 3-4ft in garage. Guest will need to bring their own charging lead. 7KW charger. Approx £20 per week or £30 for a normal two week stay. Owner will need to be called to activate the supply.
There are drops in the garden.
Children must be supervised on site due to possible safety hazards.
Great cottage, lovely area, just the place for a good relaxing rest away from it all.

Ted's cottage is very comfortable, clean and with a great view down to the river Dart. Garage parking was an added bonus as local parking is limited. We also used the bus several times as there is a stop very close to the property. We were very pleased with the cottage and we also found the neighbours very friendly.

Dumped the car in the garage and had a great week exploring 5he local NT houses, the restaurants and the towns/villages on foot. Rubbish collection was overly complex and a neighbour parked on the access road, so had to carry bags but both relatively small inconveniences.
