Very helpful and good advice on being able to take our dog with us to the cottage - and it was lovely when we got there! A lovely cottage close to the beach, and everything we needed for our short break.

Staying at Thatch Cottage was like going back in time but with modern conveniences. Thoughtfully presented, we would go again. Reasonable priced, easy booking.

As owners of a property we market through Mulberry we have always been pleased with the service and it was reassuring to see that they offer a good service to guests as well We liked Thatch Cottage, but there were one or two minor aspects, such as 5 blown light bulbs, non-working catch on one bedroom door etc that let the cottage down a little. Otherwise a very nice place to spend a short break.

Great website. Easy to navigate Great communication easy to understand Lovely thatched cottage. In easy walk of selsey town centre and the beach. Perfect for a holiday get away. Lovely courtyard garden Only downside internally requires decoration in the hallway and bathroom plus the bath needs re enamelling. Would expect an immaculately decorated cottage for the price paid. Please do not let this put you off staying here. I do hope the owners take note of my comments and take this as positive criticism. These areas of improvement have been mentioned by other individuals previously

courteous and timely the owner needs to hire someone to cut back the greenery which is spreading beyond borders

Excellent service from a very friendly team, who are there all weekend! Lovely comfortable cottage, with all the modern conveniences. Comfortable beds, fluffy towels, as much hot water as you need, easy parking. Two good pubs within easy walking distance, and Selsey town only a short walk away. Regular bus service to Chichester right outside the cottage, and lots of interesting things to do and see nearby. Highly recommended.

Really helpful and friendly. They got in touch quickly after our original cottage became unavailable and helped us to find thatch cottage. Would defiantly use them again The cottage was lovely, had everything you needed for the weekend. Small thing - Does need a new bath tub

Coastguard Lookout is in an unbeatable location and the views are fantastic. I loved waking up in the top floor bedroom in particular and the decking up there is a great place to sit out (even in February!). The kitchen is great too. Downsides... The living room can be chilly: Woodburner was essential but hard work to keep going to keep it warm). Luckily I’d read a previous review so took some throws which we used to feel cosy enough. The interior looks very good but is a little style over substance (so doors or curtains on the rooms would help with noise and heat; there was no mirror near a plug socket). Standard of maintenance was disappointing (numerous light bulbs blown; flat batteries in remote; dodgy lightswitches in kitchen; no salt in dishwasher which was also dirty). All of that said, I’d go back again for location, bedroom and views.

we had no problems finding a cottage to our likings in the very broad choice of locations. it would be rated excellent if we would have the possibility to book on any given date, so not fixed changeovers... very lovely spot. quiet area, easy to find. as we had some chats with the owner, details had to be filled in on equipment household stuff in the kitchen. we certainly would book it again.
