"As the name suggests The Buttery is the wonderful result of a sensitive renovation of an old dairy building. With a few Dexter cattle grazing in the fields surrounding this pretty rural retreat the nod to its origins is never far away.\nPositioned on the side of the Brede Valley with awe-inspiring views and near the village of Guestling this is an ideal location from which to explore 1066 country. The three medieval towns of Hastings Rye and Battle are only a short drive away and all have plenty of independent shops gastro pubs and annual events to enjoy. There is also easy access to the coast Winchelsea Beach is just 10 minutes from here and then Camber Sands can be reached within 25 minutes.\nThe spacious single level accommodation is an enticing blend of contemporary and rustic finishes with additional quirky finds. Fresh bright and comfy this little hideaway for two boasts impressive views of idyllic rolling countryside with a great vantage point from the garden. Whilst being adjacent to the owner’s house the Buttery’s aspect commands its own private space - it really is a perfect retreat for a romantic weekend offering peace and quiet when back home from exploring the area."
