I stayed here at a stressful time - between selling and moving into a new flat in late November. The rain was relentless, so couldn’t really explore the area much. However, the Chalet proved an ideal pied a terre, warm, cosy and well-equipped for a short stay. The bed was divinely comfortable, with a lovely hot shower. Though tiny, it is very pretty. The only negative was poor mobile reception. Located at the bottom of the hosts’ garden, it has its own private patch of lawn plus a sunny patio with a barbeque. But the best thing was my wonderfully hospitable hosts, supplying wine, cake, a shepherds pie and (as I was without a car) lifts into Tunbridge Wells. They could not have been kinder. I’d highly recommend, particularly for a Summer break!

A thoroughly lovely stay for a week in the Chalet. Clean and tidy this was a great base to explore the nearby area. We did Google places to visit before we arrived so had a good idea of where to visit depending on the weather. The 1066 area is within 30 mins drive, as is the AA Milne country and several steam railways. The hosts recommended other places to visit too. A visit to Worthing and Hastings was made easily from here. The chalet was clean and tidy with the most wonderful shower and the comfiest of beds. It had everything we needed for our stay. Tom and Claire were wonderful hosts, close enough should we have needed anything but allowed us the privacy to enjoy our holiday in peace. There is a main road close to the accomodation but I am a very very light sleeper and the traffic didn't wake me once. We would stay again. Thank you.

Excellent location for visiting Tunbridge Wells and pretty countryside and towns nearby. Friendly, helpful hosts and the chalet has all that is required for a short stay including a very comfortable bed.

The hosts were lovely and couldn't have been more accommodating particularly as my booking was at really short notice. The resident dogs were super friendly as well. The setting for the chalet is nice as it's tucked away and the patio is a real suntrap. If you want to explore Kent or East Sussex then it's the perfect location.

We had a wonderful time at the Chalet. Wonderful hosts who were ao pleasantly welcoming, they put us at ease immediately. From the fresh Coffee to cake and eggs from the chickens we were looked after by the hosts. The Chalet was comfortable and tastefully furnished, very comfortable bed to end the day in. A separate garden to sit and enjoy. It has a bbq and patio heater if it gets chilly at night, while you sit and look at the stars. A really great place to stay and explore the area.
