Great base and lovely village. Only 2 drawbacks. Heating struggled to get downstairs up to temp but upstairs fine and bath difficult to use for us older people. Lovely hosts.

The Coach House was a close location for our visit to Solihull. We particularly like the immediate quiet surroundings and countryside. The only downside was the lack of an independent shower, we found the one over the bath rather difficult to use. We would definitely recommend to friends and found the owners and housekeeper very friendly and helpful.

Nice warm but as nearest shop was 4 plus miles away it would of been nice to have a welcome pack with milk and tea/coffee.

Lovely cottage, picturesque setting, lovely owners. If there was one adverse comment it would be that you have to be quite tall to open the skylight over the stairs which we needed to do in the recent heatwave. The cottage was well equipped and clean.

We enjoyed our stay in the coach house very much: we loved the fairy tale setting near the church and the lovely and hospitable hosts. We stayed there while it was very hot, but the house stayed cool en refreshing. A great place to visit the Cotswolds, Stratford-upon-Avon, many places of the National Trust ... and return in a calm and peaceful setting. You can do marvelous walks starting and ending at the coach house (leaflets available in the cottage). And Jill, I want to thank you for lending me your book... it made me feel like I was a member of your little town... loved it ! :-)

9.5....great cottage in really great location with excellent hosts. Adding in a stand up shower would have made it full marks; but we knew there wasn't one in the cottage when booked up and all good. super !

Beautiful character cottage in picturesque location within easy reach of Kenilworth, the Cotswolds, Malverns . The cottage is in need of some refurbishment - plenty of 'vintage' furniture but insufficient practical storage space for clothes; the roll top bath is difficult to get into if you are under 5'2"!

The property is attractive and in a really lovely location. The owners are very hospitable. At the time of our booking the property was assessed as 5 star and was a choice selection. We did not feel it compared favourably with other five-star properties at which we have stayed. Towards the end of our stay we realised that, on some days, there is a smell, mainly in the kitchen,which appears to come from the boiler. We did not have the opportunity to raise this with the owner before we left.

We had a truly fantastic time at the Coach House in Aston Cantlow. The cottage was warm and cosy and plenty of equipment to be self sufficent in the house although the village shop was only a short walk away. The hosts were helpful and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The local pub walks were really enjoyable and provided plenty of options for different routes each day. We also enjoyed drinks and meals at the local pub, the campsite, huff cap, and in Alcester. Highly recommend for a relaxing break in the Warwickshire countryside.

We’ve scored 10/10 because we enjoyed a fabulous Christmas week in this adorable cottage. The owners bent over backwards to make sure all was ok with our stay. If we could move in, we would! There’s parking on site, lovely walks nearby, a pub/restaurant a few minutes away and church next door. We’ll definitely be booking again.
