Introduction

"Mount Ephraim house is a beautiful Victorian Grade II listed building with a large six bedroom wing that is now open to guests. Surrounded by formal terraced gardens guests are free to explore all 10 acres comprising of a rose garden a Japanese rock garden water garden and lake and many more features.\nThe views from each room of the house are stunning and whilst the gardens are open at certain times to the public there is a real sense of peace and tranquility in this lovely part of Kent.\nThe Garden Wing is not just for garden lovers either as there are miles of lovely walks from your doorstep and pets are welcome to come along too with the two local pubs welcoming four legged friends.\nThe location is also ideal as Mount Ephraim sits within easy driving distance of the charming market town of Faversham the vibrant seaside fishing town of Whitstable and the historic medieval City of Canterbury so you will be spoilt for choice.\nWithin the Wing you will find a large sitting room with woodburner a separate snug for the kids and a large games room with full size snooker table for fun evenings in. A large open plan kitchen dining room is fantastic for socialising and relaxing over meals.\nUpstairs are six bedrooms all with lovely views over the estate and countryside beyond.\nOutside is a pretty terrace with stunning views over the gardens which are exclusively yours to explore outside of the public open times.\nThe gardens are open to the public in 2019 from April on Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays and Sundays Bank Holidays. Gates open 11am. Last admission 4pm gardens close 5pm."

Tennis - the tennis court is shared with the owners of Mount Ephraim who use it on occasions, and always from 6pm to 8pm Fridays.
 
Please note: weddings take place at Mount Ephraim, and whilst there will never be a wedding during our guests stay, there may be a marquee erected on one of the public lawns.

A security deposit of £500 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.
