    The Nissen enviably sits in the beautiful countryside surrounding the picturesque small town of Tenterden, just a few minutes drive from its quaint high street. Full of character with pretty buildings lining either side, the high street offers a mix of independent shops, boutiques and upmarket high street favourites. Along with a wonderful choice of individually owned restaurants, tempting cafes and friendly pubs, as well as some more well known eateries. And if Tenterden doesn’t keep you busy enough, there is plenty nearby waiting to be explored, from the locally renowned Chapel Down Vineyards minutes from Tenterden, where you can organise wine tasting and a meal in their restaurant, to the National Trust Sissinghurst Castle gardens which is a short drive away. There is also the local Biddenden Vineyard where you can enjoy English wine, cider, local juice & vineyard tours.
