Efficient, friendly service. Reliable. Lovely large house. Spacious. Could have done with cushions for garden furniture.

Good customer service and could contact them regularly either through online chat or phone. They also helped provide some walk/restaurant recommendations when the owner didn’t reply Beautiful house and great for a celebration - well stocked kitchen, and impressive living/dining areas (a couple of broken chairs which could do with replacing but we managed). Lovely garden which would be nice in summer. Bedrooms were all good sizes. We didn’t realise that there was an occupied flat on the top floor of the house (we assumed it was on the grounds) and as this was above our room we could hear the very squeaky floorboards and then walking quite loudly every morning when we were trying to have a relaxing lie in!

The service provided by Mulberry was excellent, from the moment I started looking for a property for a special family event. The property itself was lovely, too. The welcome pack was amazing! I’d certainly use Mulberry again.

I had no problems with my dealings with Mulberry Cottages, but was disappointed with certain aspects of the Oaks about which I was not informed. The house and gardens were fine, but the furnishing, facilities and equipment were below standard for an advertised 5 star building. (i). No printed instructions for essential equipment such as cooker, fridge, dishwasher. (ii). Replacement towels locked away: we were not told about them before requesting extra towels from housekeeper. (iii). Plug for kitchen sink and cutlery drawer for dishwasher hidden under sink and not pointed out to us before we complained about the difficulty in washing up dirty dishes. (iv).No draining board meant draining board always wet. (v). Lack of storage space for clothes in master bedroom meant having to live out of cases on floor for a whole week. (vi) Radiator in upstairs walk-in shower room would not work even after being told by housekeeper that he had fixed it. (vii). General lighting poor, and bedside light switch in master bedroom could not be reached without getting out of bed. Note. Some of these complaints may appear minor, but we have not experienced similar problems from other cottages rented elsewhere over a period of 24 years renting a family house over Christmas period. On the positive side, we were impressed by the generosity of the hamper and gifts for the children left for us.

Prompt responses from the team with regards to my many questions. Prompt responses from the house keeper, patrick, when on site. Would certainly use again should the need arise. The house was fab, really lovely, would certainly recommend to anyone staying in the area in a large party. PRO’S Wonderful house for a family party weekend. Kitchen space and utilities fab. Beautiful gardens with great BBQ. Great supply of kids toys CONS Rooms - Some rooms lacked/had no hanging space, no/few mirrors in the bedrooms Kitchen - Big light on oven broken General - Not enough hot water for a full house, no info in the file (Patrick was helpful when we called him but listing the boiler times in the manual would be ideal) General - house could do with a bit of a paint/some attention PERSONAL SUGGESTIONS Some more art work/decor around the house would be lovely, namely the drawing room More than one set of keys would certainly have been useful for the size of our party (although this may be a security measure?) All in all, a great place to stay, and would certainly book again if we needed somewhere in that area.

The advisors I spoke to were very friendly and willing to help. Quotes were sent to me quickly and in an easily comparable format. Following my booking I did email to request twin beds in one of them rooms and unfortunately I did not get a response until I phoned to check a couple of weeks later. Other than that I would highly recommend Mulberry Cottages. The Oaks was absolutely stunning, it took our breath away as soon as we pulled into the driveway. We were a group of 15 girls and the house had everything we needed and more. The welcome hamper was especially a nice touch. The decor was beautiful and the rooms huge, it completely exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend The Oaks.

We rented a beautiful large Georgian house via Mulberry Cottages, and I found the booking on-line very straightforward and when I contacted Mulberry by phone with any queries, they responded promptly, answering my questions after they had contacted the owner. I would use them again. Eleven ladies from a Book Group, rented this beautiful Georgian house on the edge of Faversham. We were not easy to fit in as each woman wanted a bed to her self but the delightful housekeeper accommodated us really well. The house was as advertised, even better. It was warm throughout with lots of dry logs cut for us just in case we wanted to light a fire. The beds and bedding were perfect, as was all towels provided, and lovely pump-action soap in each toilet/bathroom. When we had a small problem with a door that had stuck, a phone call to the housekeeper is all it took for a gentleman to come, complete with tools to sort the door out! A very nice "extra" was a hamper with lots of basics in: butter, eggs, bacon, milk etc. We had not experienced this kindness before, and we have rented many places. We all agreed that we instantly felt very much at home and would love to return in the future.
