They marketed a very badly maintained and, in part, a poorly cleaned property. We sent detailed lists, supported by photographs asking for a response and what they might do to help us get a refund. Customer Relations rang us on Fri. 29th June acknowledging receipt of our letters and pictures and saying they would be passed to management. We have heard nothing since. Shabby property, incorrectly marketed. In adequate response.

Really lovely location. We saw deer, herons and loads of rabbits in the field plus hates just down the road. Cottage had everything we needed and Kevin was helpful and efficient. Lovely, relaxing stay.

The website is stylish and user friendly so the booking was quick, easy and I was kept well informed. However, in my opinion, the cottage did not live up to to image sold on the website. I often use these "high-end" cottage sites with this being my first use of Mulberry Cottages and I have to say I was a bit disappointed. I don’t think I would use them again. This is a lovely little building set in a fabulous location. Unfortunately on arrival I found the level of cleanliness to be pretty low. Also, the place needs some maintenance. The owner told me what they were planning to do and what was going to be decorated, but surely this should be done before renting it out? Wall fixtures had been taken down in the bathroom leaving loads of rawle plug holes visible. There were hand prints all over the patio doors. A dustpan with no brush. No oven gloves. Dirty windows. A garden step that looks like a trip hazard. Some people may think I’m nit picking, but I’ve stayed in many cottages and have never felt the need to complain before.
