Brilliant location to get out and hiking. A great space for a couple and the dog, and we could literally walk from the front door and explore. Perfect. WiFi not fantastic, perhaps due to location but not the end of the world. Clean, tidy and a super space, just what we were looking for. Thanks!

A super countryside studio cottage. I spent four nights and slept exceptionally well. The cottage is to a high standard, full kitchen, washer, warm and super quiet. The owners were warm and welcoming, too. I’ve already booked my next visit with them.

The area where the cottage was was lovely, but upon entering the cottage my first instincts was that it wasn't very clean, and areas needed to be wiped before using them, felt dirty. There was no attention to detail or effort to make it homely. There was no visitors book and lacked information on shops/pubs/walks etc, only info was on the appliances. 1. Bathroom - Rust round the bottom of the shower tray - Had to use owners towels to stop the bathroom flooding from the walk in shower, glad I took my own. No bin in bathroom. 2. Kitchen - Had to buy a saucepan and frying pan because theirs were disgusting. Not enough glasses. 3. TV didn't always work, no sound. Table in the living area was disgusting, I happened to put the table leaf down to reveal a line of dirt that must have been there months, have photo of this. The cushions on the bed for decoration was meant to be for a kitchen stool (had tie backs on them). The radio was stuck to the table, not sure why, have photo of this, pick the radio up and the table lifted with it. 4. Cushions for the outside seating was covered in black mould. The owner was aware of us but never asked myself if everything was fine, I didn't complain, the reason being I noticed that a previous person tried to contact them to complain and the owner never replied to the text that was sent.

Unfortunately the accommodation is not private in as much as it is overlooked by the other property on the site. When they sit out on their veranda they look straight into The Old Dairy. The only way to have privacy is to keep the curtains closed. The accommodation itself is fine but lack those little refinements. The location is very peaceful and ideally placed for touring the area.

3 issues texted to owner on Friday 3-6-22 at 10.02 - disappointed that no reply to that text yet. 1. Poo caked in toilet outlet - need a different toilet brush to clear it out. 2. Chipped lip on Bodum coffee pot (we brought our own small coffee pot anyway). 3. Pants and socks left in bottom drawer by a previous visitor. [ the owner is aware of my mobile number as I sent her a text on 2-6-22 about a parcel delivery - she replied within 10 minutes ]

Excellent walking and countryside especially for dog lovers but close to places of interest plus the seaside!!
