"The Old Post Office is the ideal holiday home for a city break or holiday in and around Canterbury. The location is perfect for arriving by car train or coach and everything the City has to offer is within a short walk. Its central location makes for easy days out to several local Blue Flag beaches and Seaside Award towns by car or public transport. Canterbury is also situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty where many walks can be easily accessed in the Kent Downs Area and along the North Downs Way. After a day of sightseeing you can return to this lovely modern cottage which has everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. In the summer you can enjoy the pretty terraced garden. In the winter you can keep warm with the cosy burner.\nThe two bedrooms and two bathrooms make the cottage perfect for couples. It is also a great cottage for short lets. Canterbury is a City for all Seasons - in the summer it is lovely to stroll through the pretty Westgate Gardens. Enjoy an alfresco lunch walk the mediaeval City Walls or go punting on the River Stour which runs through the Old City.     What makes this area so special

    Canterbury East Station is the nearest train station to the property with Canterbury West station only a 5 minute taxi ride away. A short walk from the property is the bus station. There are a wide range of shops and restaurants including Italian and Chinese. Canterbury is certainly a city for ’All Seasons’ as there are events running all throughout the year for you to enjoy. The Canterbury Cathedral is a wonderful attraction to visit and is also only a short walk away, along with the Marlowe Theatre if you fancy spending one evening in the city.
