The service was good - the cottage was excellent Comfortable cottage in a convenient location, very close to cathedral and town centre. Everything you need and spotlessly clean. Parking permit an added bonus. Owners friendly and welcoming.

Mary and Andrew were very welcoming and hospitable. They gave us good recommendations for restaurants and directions to places. A charming place which was simply but beautifully furnished to a very high standard. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent and everything was spotlessly clean. The courtyard garden was delightful and the location was excellent being only a very short walk from everything.

We had problems with our first accommodation and had to move after one night. Mulberry found us an alternative very quickly and made all the necessary arrangements for us Beautiful accommodation close to the centre of Winchester. Helpful, friendly owners. Will definitely stay here again.

The service was ok but was very disappointed at all the extra little charges that were applied to the booking. In the end with the booking fee together with credit card charges it added quite a bit to the cost of a two night stay away. The Potting Shed is in an amazing location in Winchester and so beautifully furnished. Everything was spotlessly clean and there was absolutely everything there that you could possibly need. There was a welcome goodie tray to greet us on the kitchen table too! The only little downside was parking in the area...sometimes you had to park quite a bit away from the property if the area was busy but a parking permit was kindly provided which was a great help. All in all a wonderful place to stay.

This was an excellent experience. The customer service when booking was extremely helpful and the cottage we stayed in was beautiful. I am also a big fan of your website! We will definitely be booing through here again. A beautiful cottage and a friendly welcome. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

The owners of my little appartmnt were lovely people. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Also Mulberry Cottages were very easy and friendly to deal with. The flat was very tiny but all the appliances were very up to date. The only thing that could be improved was the addition of two small upholstered chairs rather than the director chairs as the only furniture to relax on after a busy day was the large very comfortable bed. I had no car so found it conveniently close to the central area and enjoyed the fact it was in an older part of the town. I don’t understand what you mean by purchases. I have already rated the apartment.

Excellent. Beautiful space with everything you would need. Extremely hospitable and welcoming - our hosts were lovely. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for a romantic bolthole from which to see Winchester. Excellent location - you must try the Wykeham Arms for a taste of Winchester at its best. Excellent. Very impressed and would look to Mulberry again for a holiday retreat.

The range of properties (this is our second) is good and there is a consistency in terms of quality. The properties are well described and pictured. The booking process was faultless and our latest booking was aided by the owners being on-hand to support and advise. We will certainly use Mulberry Cottages again. The Potting Shed was a delightful property. It is for only a couple and ideally for short breaks as it is basically a bed-sit. That said it is beautifully presented. Great care and devotion has gone into the design and the fittings. The location is perfect. It is 5 minutes from the cathedral and the shops, a similar distance to good eating choices and there are good walks into the countryside without having to turn the car’s engine. The perfect city break.

Easy booking, very affordable, when I called to ask a question about the booking the staff were very helpful. Had a tremendous vacation! Lovely cottage more than I expected, very cozy, comfortable, clean and quiet. The owners are wonderful.

Mulberry Cottages had a good selection of quality accommodation in the area we needed. Booking online was straightforward and emails confirming the booking and security deposit came through virtually immediately. Was a little confused when it came to paying the remaining money, wasn’t sure if I had to click on an email link or if the money was taken automatically - a quick email to customer service confirmed the procedure. This was our first time booking through Mulberry, but I’d be very happy to use them again based on our experience. The Potting Shed was a charming property, very well presented with quality furnishings and appliances and, whilst being a few minutes walk from the cathedral and bustle of Winchester, the street was very quiet. It is situated within the owner’s pretty courtyard garden and consists of a galley kitchen with stairs leading to a good sized double bedroom with hanging space, a couple of small chairs and an en-suite shower room. Everything was extremely clean and well kept with lots of thoughtful extras - torch, brollies, etc. Unfortunately, we did need these as the weather was not so kind which meant we were unable to use the table and chairs provided in the courtyard. The owners were friendly and welcoming but also very discreet. Parking is a few yards down the street, with a permit supplied by the owner. There is an uncovered skylight in the bedroom which could disturb those who are light-sensitive in mid summer. It might be the case that the owner could arrange to cover it but on this occasion we had to be up with the lark anyway, so we did not mention it. Overall, a lovely little gem in a quiet backwater - would definitely return.
