Green credentials: The Retreat benefits from double triple glazed windows. The majority of windows are from a Danish company called Svarre and these are extremely good at keeping the cold out and the heat in. The walls are very well insulated, so in winter once Dungeness Retreat is warm it stays warm! The house also has Photovoltaics (like solar panels) therefore the house actually has two electricity meters, one to heat the house, one for the electricity the house produces that the National Grid buys back.
Please note if you wish to hold a photo shoot or a TV/film production at this property an additional fee will apply. The necessary licences must also be obtained from The Dungeness Estate.
