Introduction

"Surrounded by woodland orchards and arable paddock complete with grazing horses this is a superb holiday venue. Tilmangate Barn is a very spacious barn conversion that is airy and bathed in natural light with an entrance hall leading to double bed bathroom and well-equipped kitchen.\nThe pretty double bedroom decorated in soft ivory is bright and spacious with high ceilings exposed beams and has lovely views over the farmland. There is also a charming and cosy single bedroom to house another guest. You’ll also find a separate a bathroom with a large shower wash hand basin and toilet. From the kitchen doors lead into the charming lounge in shades of lemon ivory and grey creating a serene space where one of the sofas provides an additional sleeping facility. From the lounge patio doors open out into the delightful courtyard awash with pots of colourful shrubs and flowers. It has a raised patio area for entertaining or simply just to relax with views of the unspoilt countryside providing the perfect backdrop during your stay."

    Tilmangate Barn sleeps a maximum of 3 adults. If individual sleeping areas are required, there is a sofabed available. Please advise at time of booking if a guest would require the sofabed.

    What makes this area so special

    The small, quiet and ancient village of Ulcombe, with its lovely church, lies in an enviable location amidst the lush greenery of Kent. In an area such as this, outdoor pursuits are plentiful with opportunities for walking, cycling, riding, tennis, golf and fishing. There is plenty to keep everyone amused for a whole day out Leeds Castle, a moated castle with spacious grounds and even a maze . For those who like excitement Leeds Castle also has a Go Ape attraction which is a high wire climbing adventure through the treetops.

      Good website and good communication when contacted with queries. Accommodation was exactly as described and I would recommend them to others. I had everything I needed for my 4 week stay at Tilmangate barn. Very spacious, excellent facilities, great location and lovely hosts. Also very peaceful.
