"Set on a private drive off a quiet lane Tor Hatch is a very special place overlooking a wide picturesque valley in the Surrey Hills.\n\nTor Hatch Cabin is a quirky and colourful hidden gem tucked to the side in the garden of the main house. It has a kingsize bed shower room and well-equipped kitchen. Outside is a private garden area with a barbecue and outdoor seating with views across the valley. The perfect spot for some al-fresco dining or relaxing with a glass of bubbly. \n\nThere are plenty of cycle routes in the area that are very popular with an abundance of quiet lanes and traditional villages to explore along the way. Dogs are welcomed too and with plenty of walking opportunities on your doorstep this is also a great base to put your walking boots on and clear your head with a walk across the fields to one of the local pubs. It is perfect for a weekend escape from the city and is within a 30-minute drive of London suburbs such as Epsom Esher and Weybridge.\n\nFor larger groups the main house can also be booked by itself or as a complex with the adjacent Tor Hatch Cottage ref M529670 sleeping a total of 16. Whether you are in your glad rags or your galoshes Tor Hatch welcomes you with open arms Shop pub and restaurant 1 mile."

Large lawned garden with decked area, patio, garden furniture and BBQ. Landscaped grounds (shared with owner). 2 pets welcome, to be kept on a lead at all times (livestock nearby). Swimming pool available on an enquiry basis, however please be advised that priority usage will be given for guests staying in Tor Hatch House (ref M529670). When the owner’s are occupying Tor Hatch House, the pool will be available. It is heated (April to Septmeber) and you will be charged for the elctricity used. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced pond in the garden, 200 yards away.

    What makes this area so special

    The pretty village of Shere, famous as a film location, is half a mile up the road. There are several local pubs serving good food. The gin distillery Silent Pool and Albury Vineyard are all within a couple of miles. Guildford, Dorking, Horsham, Crawley and Gatwick airport are within 15-30 minutes drive, and for a thrilling day out for the family, Chessington World of Adventures is within easy reach by car just 20 miles away.
