"Set on a private drive off a quiet lane Tor Hatch House is a very special grand holiday home overlooking a wide picturesque valley in the Surrey Hills.\nThis spacious house offers plenty of room for your group to spread out. Downstairs features a large kitchen with adjoining snug dining room with great views and doors opening onto the garden a sitting room with roaring open fire and a huge conservatory. There are 5 double bedrooms upstairs with stunning views all individually styled in a unique country house fashion. The voluptuous master bedroom is something to behold complete with a two-room en suite.\nIf you still have some energy to burn after the swimming and tennis and you can tear yourself away from this oasis there are plenty of cycle routes in the area that are very popular - with an abundance of quiet lanes and traditional villages to explore. Dogs are welcomed too and with plenty of walking opportunities on your doorstep this is also a great base to put your walking boots on and clear your head with a walk across the fields to one of the local pubs. It is perfect for a weekend escape from the city and is within a half hour drive of London suburbs such as Epsom Esher and Weybridge.\n\n\nWhether you are in your glad rags or your galoshes Tor Hatch welcomes you with open arms"

    If you are a group of 10 or under and do not need access to The Garden Room, please contact us as we may be able to offer a small discount.
     
    1 cot (please bring bedding) and 1 high chair available on request.
     
    This property does not accept stag or hen parties.
     
    The swimming pool is heated 1st May - 30th September (by arrangement with the owner).There is an additional charge for the use of the swimming pool.
    Due to the pool please ensure children are supervised at all times.

    If Tor Hatch Cottage is booked by other guests, they have 1 hours use of the tennis court per day

    A security deposit of £400 is required at this property. This will be collected automatically 7 days prior to arrival and refunded (unless a damage claim is received) 7 days after the end of your stay. Please note that your refunded security deposit will take 3-5 days to appear in your account. For your convenience, we’ll take this payment from the last card used to make payment to us. If you would prefer to use a different method of payment, please let us know before the security deposit is due.

    What makes this area so special

    The pretty village of Shere, famous as a film location, is half a mile up the road. There are several local pubs including The William Bray and The White Horse; the gin distillery Silent Pool and Albury Vineyard all within a couple of miles. Guildford, Dorking, Horsham, Crawley and Gatwick airport are within 15-30 minutes drive, and for a thrilling day out for the family, Chessington World of Adventures is within easy reach by car just 20 miles away.
