From Cathedrals to river trips an extensive array of shops boutiques theatre shows live music plenty restaurants and bars to choose from there is so much to do in the cathedral city. Walk the other way and enjoy the open countryside great for walks or go on a cycle ride to Chilham where Jane Austen’s ’Emma’ was filmed or along the coast to Whitstable via the Crab Winkle Way. The owner is a cycle enthusiast and is happy to provide tours and advice on request.\nThe living room benefits from a real open fire great for chillier nights when the day draws to a close. On warmer days retreat to your cottage and enjoy a well deserved beverage in the pretty sunny garden. Please note there is free parking on Caledon Terrace, however spaces are limited and not guaranteed. Further street parking is available nearby and parking permits can be arranged with the owner directly, however this is subject to availability.
There is a right of way path to the rear of the garden (fenced off), this is used by all cottage owners in Caledon Terrace, purely to access their properties from the back.
The high speed fast train tiptoes past Caledon Terrace about once an hour (lasts only 3 seconds and is hardly noticeable) and once a month you might even catch a glimpse of the Orient Express which makes a stop in Canterbury.
The owner is happy to provide routes for cycling and accompany as unpaid tour guide if desired (and if convenient)! Bikes can be locked up in the rear garden.
