Holiday Cottage on the Isle of Wight

A visit to the Isle of Wight starts with the adventure of getting over on the ferry!  What a treat to leave Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington and arrive on the Isle of Wight as quickly as half an hour later!  This magical island takes you back in time - wherever you go on the Isle of Wight you will see evidence of its fascinating past, which stretches all the way back to the time of the dinosaurs. Which is why renting an Isle of Wight holiday cottage is exactly what should be on your list for this year!

With miles of beaches that surpass some of the finest on the mainland, the Isle of Wight is a wonderful place for a holiday any time of year. Visit medieval castles, Roman villas and historic houses.  You can discover historic landmarks such as the medieval St Catherine’s Oratory “The Pepperpot” and the Megalithic Mottistone Longstone, as you explore the varied landscapes across the Island when you stay in one of our Isle of Wight holiday cottages. Looking for some adventure on your holiday? The Isle of Wight offers some of the most exciting outdoor and adventure sports in the UK with a backdrop of the most stunning countryside in the UK.

Isle of Wight is filled with a diverse range of outdoor and adventure activities that will entertain old and young alike! One of our cottages on the Isle of Wight will enable you to have adventures and relaxation, perfect for a great break in the UK.  Historic towns such as Cowes with its maritime history, to little villages such as Brighstone where you can explore the extensive network of bridleways and footpaths, climb rolling chalk downland and admire the fabulous panoramic views – enough to take your breath away before heading back to your holiday cottage on the Isle of Wight!

The Walking Festival 28 April to 13 May 2018 - walks vary in length - some only take an hour or so and are a gentle ramble. For the more adventurous there is a Three Day Round the Island Walk, Walk the Wight and of course the 24 hour Isle of Wight Challenge.  2018 also marks the 50th Isle of Wight Festival in June.  A nice tie-in for this is the Jimi Hendrix Afton Experience walk on May 4th and the Bob Dylan and Wootton's Musical Landmarks walk on May 3rd.

We have a wonderful array of accommodation on the Isle of Wight from slick marina town houses to idyllic farms and grand art deco houses.
